CAPTAINS OF INDUSTRY ILLUMINATE RIIEW DAY 2

Research Innovation Industrialisation Entrepreneurship Week

YESTERDAY's hybrid-Research, Innovation, Industrialisation and Entrepreneurship Week (RIIEW) session was dominated by presentations from Captains of Industry, students, and university staff members, who shared experiences and trends on trade, finance and the importance of strategic synergies between academic institutions and industry.

Day three (3)'s Key Note addresses will come from notable speakers including Zimbabwe Women's' Bank (ZWMB) chief executive office, Dr Mandas Marikanda, who will present on: Inclusive Growth with Women Championing Innovative Business and another eye opening Key Note address from the Confederations of Zimbabwe Industries (CZI) chief executive officer, Sekai Kuvakira (Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries) whose topic is Universities Working with Industry for Green Growth, respectively.

Meanwhile, a number of thought provoking presentations will follow, including Impacts of the informal sector child labour on mental health; Assessing the socio-economic impact of child labour in smallholder tobacco farming in Matapetape, Bindura of Mashonaland Central Province; Strategic Green Human Resources Management for Sustainable and Environmental conscious business, and Exploring ripple effects of unregulated small scale artisanal mining at Garati mining claims in Mash-Central and many more topics.
