ZEGU LAW STUDENT DONATES NEW RUGBY JERSEYS TO ZEGU RHINOS

The Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU) community is celebrating yet another inspiring act of generosity after the ZEGU Rhinos Rugby Team received brand new rugby jerseys donated by one of its own students, Tawana Muvhundura. This marks not the first, but another milestone in Tawana's ongoing support for campus sport. Last year, he donated soccer jerseys to the ZEGU soccer team, demonstrating a consistent commitment to uplifting student athletics. His latest gesture strengthens the spirit and identity of the Rhinos as they prepare for upcoming university fixtures.

Tawana is currently a Level 4.1 Law student at ZEGU. While pursuing his legal studies, he has also established himself as a young entrepreneur making waves in Zimbabwe's agribusiness sector. He is the founder of Muphael Feeds, a company that manufactures and supplies quality stock feeds for broilers, layers, rabbits, pigs, goats, and cattle. The company is located at 391 Willowvale Road, Harare, just after Southerton Police Station. Through Muphael Feeds, Tawana is contributing to food security, livestock productivity, and economic empowerment within the community. In addition, he is associated with Monstun and Soul Foods, further highlighting his diverse business interests and passion for enterprise. University sport plays a vital role in developing discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience among students. By investing in sports teams, Tawana is not only supporting athletic performance but also fostering unity and school pride within the ZEGU community. Speaking on behalf of the Rhinos, team members expressed gratitude for the donation, noting that new kits boost morale and confidence on the field. Well-equipped teams are better positioned to compete effectively and represent the university with pride.

Tawana's actions reflect a growing trend among young Zimbabwean entrepreneurs who combine business success with social responsibility. His journey demonstrates that students can balance academic excellence with entrepreneurship and still find ways to give back. As Zimbabwe's agricultural and youth entrepreneurship sectors continue to expand, initiatives like Muphael Feeds highlight the important role young innovators play in national development.
