Requirements

The incumbent must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Statistics / Applied Mathematics
  • Minimum degree classification: 2.1 or better
  • Not more than 25 years old

1) TEACHING ASSISTANT - COMMUNICATION SKILLS (1 POST)

Qualifications and Skills

  • Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication Honours Degree passed with at least an Upper Second (2.1) class.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Department with conducting tutorials and individual consultations, marking and recording students' coursework.
  • Advancing the goals of Education 5.0 in the Department and Faculty through Teaching, Research, Extension Services, Innovation, and Industrialisation.
  • Contributing to the development of appropriate teaching and learning materials.
  • Promoting stakeholder engagements; advising students and collaborate with the Faculty on Research within and across Departments.
  • Conducting any other duties as deemed necessary by the Chairperson of the Department.

N.B. Successful applicants will be expected to register for a Master's Degree in the relevant discipline.
