1. SCOPE OF WORK

The Contractor shall provide 7 days a week security services at Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University for a period of 12 months renewable yearly on condition of satisfactory performance for a period of 36 months. The Contractor shall provide fourteen (14) personnel, equipment and materials for the execution of the work.

2. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible, Bidders must:

2.1 Be registered Security Service Companies that are licensed to operate in Zimbabwe;

2.2 Not be insolvent, in receivership, bankrupt or being wound up, not have had business activities suspended and not be the subject of legal proceedings for any of these reasons;

2.3 Not have Board members and/or Management with personal, financial, or professional interests that could conflict with their duties to the University;

2.4 Have an office or be able to establish presence in Bindura.

3. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Eligible companies should have the following experience:

3.1 At least three (3) years of operation;

3.2 Proven experience in provision of service to Higher Education or similar Institutions.

4. HOW TO APPLY

4.4 Copy of a valid Tax Clearance Certificate (Current ITF 263)

4.5 Security Guard Services Proposal to provide 24 hour security with an indication of the number of security guards and shifts per day and cost breakdown.

4.6 At least 3 traceable references from previous clients.

4.7 Proof of Registration with Security Association of Zimbabwe, ZINSA or equivalent

4.8 Proof of Insurance against Public Liability of at least USD $100 000.00

4.9 All interested companies should attach proof of payment on a non-refundable application fee of USD$40.00
