The on-going audit in Zimbabwean schools has revealed that quite a number of school administrators (heads, deputy heads, teachers in charge) lack skills in handling public funds and general school management skills. Thus in light of the current curriculum change and innovation, the diploma in school administration and financial management seeks to equip school administrators and prospective school administrators with effective skills in handling public funds and school administration.
