Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Business Administration and Management

The programme will normally be offered over duration of four years/parts. No candidate shall complete the degree in less than two academic years/parts. Students should complete the programme within a maximum period of eight (8) academic years/parts, otherwise the student will be timed out of the programme of study.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

NORMAL ENTRY

To qualify for normal entry into the programme a candidate must have passed five Ordinary level subjects including English and Mathematics with grade “C” or better, and must have obtained at least 2 ‘A’ level passes.

 

SPECIAL ENTRY


  • A Higher National Diploma, National Diploma or certificate (complete qualification) in any field or professional qualifications.
  • Candidates who have successfully completed the Higher National Diploma in a relevant field or have obtained equivalent qualifications may apply for direct entry into Part II of the degree programme, subject to availability of places.
  • Candidate admitted under 3.2.1 above will normally be exempted from Part 1 on   course –by-course basis upon application.
  • General provisions for a four-year degree programme apply except for special entry students who can complete the program in three years.
  • Work related learning and assessment can run concurrently with Part II studies for candidates who are continuously employed in the relevant field for a period of not less than 10 months.
  • No candidate may complete the degree in less than three academic parts.

 

MATURE ENTRY


  • There is also provision for mature entry for persons who meet the requirements of mature entry under General Regulations.
